From the moment you reach out, I learn about your motherhood journey if you're open to share. I try to find a quiet place + a calm setting for every session that will allow your family's story to unfold naturally. I want to assure you that your Experience is just as important to me as your photos. During our time together, we'll walk, relax, and truly disconnect from your busy life. You get to soak it all in and just hang out with your favourite humans. This is your time! For an hour, I need you to trust me. Know that Im ready for anything that comes my way. I know sometimes mama's are scared that their babes will not cooperate, but rest assured that some of my most emotive sessions are when they want nothing to do with it. You'll do some consoling and that's okay. It'll be just like an adventure. If you have old babes, they'll want to trow some rocks and play with sticks and that's okay too. That's what it's all about. We'll pick flowers and walk to distract them, the girls will dance and twirl their dresses, you'll snuggle and tell stories. You'll sit and play in the water...and you'll get dirty. Yes dirty!
Perfection is not my goal, capturing real, raw, tangible moments are. My way of photographing a family is completely organic. With all that being said, I cannot tell a story without all the other pieces coming together like Neutral + Earthy tones styling (outfits), location and light. I have spots that will provide beautiful backdrops + suit your families needs. Please keep in mind that your session will be during golden hour, one hour before sunset. I also plan for more tranquil + intimate moments when the time is right. It makes it all come together and creates a memorable experience and timeless photographs that will bring you to tears! Being a mom myself, I know exactly how you feel when it comes to capturing it all!

Preserve the hazy, early days of life with your newborn. These moments are so precious, fragile and fleet away quikly. Exhaustion sets in, but so does the overwhelming love and urge to protect. As you sit in the tall grass, you spot the distinguished golden light softly stroking your baby's flaky skin. You gently caress his little back with tenderness and softly sway your lips back and forth against his soft feathered hair. That milk drunk aroma fills your soul. These are the days. My newborn sessions are designed to be relaxing and natural. They're usually captured between the first 14 days of life. The session is baby led and We take things slow; there's time for naps, feeds and changes. - Always time for skin to skin closeness.

You have my heart and soul poured into you right from the start. I typical shoot in dreamy light; Sunrise or Sunset. Once we find a date, a $200 is required to secure the session date in my calendar and can be payed by e-transfer. The down is deducted from the total amount of your session and balance can be payed at session. When the day is upon us, we will meet at a location and drive to the spot we planned together. Four weeks after the session, your digital high resolution files will be downloadable from an online gallery. How exciting!

I simply love giving solace to my mama's and it's my main mission to make you feel like you matter...like your motherhood journey matters. If I couldn't do that, I truly believes that my art wouldn't be as meaningful. Since 2020, I've create digital motherhood artwork based from photographs for mama's from all over the world like Australia, Germany and the States; Hawaii, Florida and Kentucky. Not to mention my local mama's up in the Campbelton area and out West in Alberta. I'm so grateful!!

Is your dream session locations not located in the grand falls area? Add on my travel fee for the Bathurst & Moncton area. If you're lucky, you might catch me at a time where im headed your way in the near future and usually my fee cost is cut in half. Sometimes I charge close to nothing for travel depending on how many sessions I have booked in a row. Please tell your friend they need to book me and it might just happen you'll both get the travel fee included if they do. You can grab a travel fee quote today by letting me know with your inquiry!

How does the Client Closet work?
If you haven't found it yet, it's listed in the Welcome Guide amongst other places here and there on the website.
If you plan on wearing a few pieces from the client closet, please let me know. Just screen shot the ones you want and send them to me. I will bring the ones you're interested in and you'll be able to try them in your vehicle to see if you love them right before your session. We'll plan extra time.
I usually add quality, versatile, comfy + flowy dresses so there should be no issue for the fit if it's your usual size. Let me know if you'd like to wear some of them and I'll make a note to get them ready + steamed for the day of your shoot. I can't wait to see what you pick!
When should I book my maternity session?
A question that comes up a lot is,
"when is the best time to book maternity photos?" This is an important one to get right - most people aren't up for booking two maternity sessions in the same pregnancy. But the answer isn't so clear cut. It's different for everyone.
So, how do you know?
As a rule of thumb, anytime between 30-32 weeks is a good time. But babies will arrive when they want to, so if you're having twins or you suspect your little one might be making their big entrance into the world early, it's safer to do it sooner rather than later. If you've been pregnant before, chances are you'll show earlier, so you could book earlier.
When do I book my newborn session?
Book in when your pregnant and I will enter it in my calendar around you due date. We then touch base when your baby arrives.
My newborn sessions are usually captured between the first 14 days of life.
What style of newborn session do you offer?
I offer a natural baby lead style. Outfits are definitely my go to! You should see what I have in my client closet for the your little one. You will love it!
Please note that I no longer offer wrapped and posed newborn sessions. I truly want to offer something different and unique.
Is it better to have professional makeup and hair done?
No. Not at all! The only instance I would recommend a hair dresser is if you want those curls to last longer.
What time will my session be?
If your session is in-home, to get the best light is usually at 10:30 in the morning.
Outdoor sessions are scheduled 1-2 hours before sunset, this varies of the location, weather, and time of year. Please consider that summer sessions will be later in the evening, and fall sessions will be earlier. I understand that this may be late for your kids, but unfortunately I cannot achieved the dreamy golden tones if I shoot mid-day. Mid-day the shadows are harsh and the photos are not flattering. I hope you understand.
Where will my session be?
No stress! As for location, I have pre-determined spots because I know exactly how the light is and the photographs turn out in the most spectacular way. The spots are usually 15 minutes outside of Grand falls, NB
Let me know if you have another backdrop in mind, I can recommend other locations that include a travel fee!
What do we do if rain is forecast?
Heavy rain/ Storm we will rebook but if the forecast is 30% or less we will go ahead with the session.
What to wear?
Please chat with me. I truly believe that outfits can make a session. I have a client closet and a welcome guide with tips on what to wear. As I am specializing and diving deeper into my style, Neutral + warm earthy tones outfits are an important part of your session (Browns, rust, khaki green, creams etc.)
Do you do sneak peaks?
Like last year, I will not be sending sneak peaks due to it taking me away from delivering your gallery in a reasonable time frame. For the moment, waiting time for your images is 4 weeks after our session. I'd truly appreciate it if you'd let me work at my own pace and when your gallery is ready, I will send you a direct link. I know it's painful, but know that I'm working endlessly to get you your beautiful gallery curated with love. It'll be worth the wait I promise. PS: If anything drastic happens, I will let you know of the delay.
Is Solis Light your bread winner?
Yes absolutely! in 2019, I was determined on making it happen when my son was born to make this my full time career. I have always been extremely creative and that is one of the things that kept me going through hardships in my life.
In June 2020, Solis Light Photo was officially established and I never looked back after that! I started from scratch, without education whatsoever in photography to being published in more than 10 magazines. I am self taught and have mentored with 3 talented photographers so far. Keeping those wheels turning is important to keep a fresh outlook on my art and how to better serve you. It also helps me keep the passion alive!
I travel all New Brunswick all the way up to Campbelton all the way down the Moncton area. The beach and Rocky coast, my favorite! To humbly add, mama's from all over including Ontario and Nova Scotia come to see me for the unique experience and style that I offer. Im so so grateful!!
I can't wait to see what the futur holds! There are so many possibilities to flourish through this beautiful creative adventure that I have started with you just 3 years ago. It feels like it was just yesterday but the years go by so quickly!
On a side note, in a couple of years I plan on offering in-door sessions to my mama's and their families. It'll be so nice for my little newborns and for the winter season.

Depending on where you are situated, travel fee can vary between 60-400$ in the New-Brunswick area. I also have Scheduled payment plans available upon request. Please reach out as the travel charge might be waved altogether.

Do you offer payment plan?
YES! Usually I require 200$ as a down but times haven't been easy. Please dont' hesitate to ask for a payment plan. Maybe we can cut the deposit in two parts. Whatever you need. I try to help in anyway I can. :)

2 - Let's Connect!
The best way to get in touch with me is through Facebook messenger. Let me know what you're looking for your dream shoot and who will be a part of the session. I'll answer any questions or worries your may have!
3 - Booking Process
Once you've looked at the information and you're ready to book, I will send you a link to walk you through the steps of booking your session. Once this process is completed, your date will be secured in my schedule.
4 - Session Planning
After your booking, I will send you resources that are included within your Welcome Guide and client closet.
5 - Outfits Planning
Around 4 weeks before your session, we can start planning for outfits and order if we need to.
6 - Day of
Take it all in. This is your time and if you can relax on the day of, please do! Make it an event! For the session, don't forget that everything ALWAYS works out! Please keep in mind that we might need to reschedule due to weather or health issues.
7 - Photo Gallery
Your final images should be ready within 4 weeks and will be delivered and downloadable from an online gallery. Easy peasy! then, enjoy your memories for a lifetime!
